Don't you love it when you are super tired after a long day at work and you just wanna eat something quickly and you don't have the strength to cook something yourself so you go to a fast food restaurant and you're ordering something, and then the guy that takes your order is the most kind person that has spoke to you in all day? That feeling is amazing. Being treated with kindness makes the moment you're ordering fast food, more than just a moment of sin (because you're too lazy to cook and you're going to get fatter), that guy just made your day, simply by saying "how are you", "thank you", "have a good night", "i hope you enjoy your meal"and of course by wearing a smile at all times.
Today, I'm grateful for kind people. Those who say "Good morning" when you enter an elevator. The people that let you keep the change. The ones that wear a smile at all times, making you smile too. Those who give way to anyone on the road who wants it. The ones that hold the door for you when you are carrying a lot of bags, and also offer to help. It easy you know.. Doing an act of kindness makes you an agent of change. You might not be changing the world, but for that short moment, you're changing someone else's world, you're being a reminder that there's still good people and that we all together could change the world. And let's not forget how awesome you'll feel after being kind to someone, try it, i promise it's one of the best feelings you'll have. What are you grateful for?
